Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Melbet platform by players residing in or accessing the service from Mongolia. By registering an account or using any part of the platform (including sports betting and casino services), you confirm that you have read, understood, and fully agree to be bound by these Terms.

Important Notice regarding Mongolian Law
Online gambling, paid prediction activities, and betting services are subject to significant restrictions and prohibitions under current Mongolian legislation (including amendments to the Law on Licensing and related provisions of the Criminal Code adopted in 2025–2026). You are solely and exclusively responsible for determining whether your use of the platform is lawful under the laws of Mongolia. Melbet does not provide any guarantee or assurance that the use of its services is permitted in your jurisdiction. By continuing to use the platform, you accept all related legal and financial risks.

The platform is operated by Pelican Entertainment B.V., a company incorporated under the laws of Curaçao (Company Number 134359), holding a Curaçao gaming licence (No. 8048/JAZ2020-060 / OGL/2024/561/0554).

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the platform.

1. Eligibility and Legal Use

Access to Melbet services is restricted to persons who meet all of the following requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age (or the higher legal age for gambling applicable in your place of residence).
  • You must not be located in a jurisdiction where the use of online gambling services is prohibited.
  • You must not be a Politically Exposed Person (PEP), unless this status has been fully disclosed and approved through enhanced due diligence procedures.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform complies with the laws of Mongolia. Melbet reserves the right to refuse service, suspend, or close any account if it has reasonable grounds to believe that the account is being used in violation of applicable law.

2. Account Registration and Security

You must provide accurate, complete, and verifiable personal information when registering. Only one account is permitted per person, household, IP address, device, payment method, or e-wallet.

  • Creation of multiple accounts is strictly prohibited. If duplicate accounts are detected, they may be restricted for up to 2 months while under investigation. Any bets placed on such accounts during the investigation period will be completely voided. Confirmed violations will result in the closure of all related accounts and the forfeiture of any remaining balances and winnings.
  • You are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. All activity conducted through your account will be deemed to have been authorised by you.
  • The currency selected at the time of account registration is final. If a user wishes to convert the account currency, a formal request must be submitted by email to [email protected] together with a scanned copy of a valid passport. A strict 10% service charge will be levied on the exchanged amount.

3. Identity Verification (KYC)

Identity verification is mandatory before any withdrawal can be processed. Required documents typically include:

  • Government-issued photo ID or passport;
  • Proof of residential address (utility bill or bank statement);
  • Payment method verification documents;
  • A clear selfie holding the identification document.

Verification is normally completed within 72 hours of receipt of clear and complete documentation. Failure to complete verification within the requested timeframe may result in account restriction or suspension. Additional checks apply to withdrawals exceeding the equivalent of €2,000.

4. Deposits and Payments

Deposits must be made using payment methods available in the Cashier and belonging to the account holder. Use of third-party payment methods is prohibited.

Melbet does not charge internal deposit fees; however, payment providers or banks may apply their own charges. Deposited funds are intended for wagering. Immediate withdrawal of a deposit without reasonable wagering activity may trigger a security review.

5. Withdrawals

Withdrawals are subject to the following rules:

  • Same-method principle: Withdrawals are generally processed using the same payment method used for deposits. Where multiple methods were used, withdrawals may be allocated proportionally.
  • Wagering requirement: Deposited amounts must generally be wagered at odds of 1.10 or higher before a withdrawal request can be approved.
  • Processing times for standard withdrawals are normally 12–48 hours (up to 2–5 working days). Larger amounts or accounts requiring additional verification may take longer (up to 30 working days in exceptional cases).
  • Weekends, public holidays, and ongoing security reviews may extend processing times.

6. Betting Rules and Settlement

  • Minimum stake is the equivalent of approximately USD 0.20.
  • Maximum payout on any single wager is limited (currently equivalent to approximately USD 60,000). Melbet reserves the right to limit maximum stakes or adjust odds for any user without prior notice.
  • A bet is confirmed only when a unique bet ID is generated and recorded in your Bet History. Confirmed bets cannot be cancelled by the player.
  • Bets placed after an event has started (except legitimate live betting markets) will be settled at odds of 1.00.
  • Live betting may experience a small delay in acceptance due to the fast-changing nature of the matches. If a result has already been determined for a betting event at the exact time a live bet is made, that specific bet becomes void.
  • The platform determines the outcome of every bet strictly on the basis of the official results provided by the governing body of the concerned sport or match. In the absence of such official results, settlement will be based on verified independent sources.

7. Bonuses and Promotions

Bonuses are optional and subject to specific terms and wagering requirements published with each offer. Only one bonus may be active at a time.

Any form of bonus abuse (including multiple accounts, hedging, or coordinated play) will result in the cancellation of the bonus, related winnings, and possible permanent closure of the account(s).

8. Fair Play, Fraud, and Account Measures

Melbet maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward fraud, use of automated betting software, syndicate betting, or any form of market manipulation. Confirmed violations may result in voiding of bets, withholding of funds, and permanent account closure. Suspension or closure does not entitle the user to compensation.

9. Responsible Gambling

Gambling should be treated as entertainment. Melbet provides tools to help you stay in control, including deposit limits, loss limits, and session time limits.

If you wish to self-exclude or restrict your account, contact Customer Support via live chat or the dedicated responsible gambling channel available on the platform. Upon valid request, betting access will be restricted or the account closed.

10. Dispute Resolution and Limitation of Liability

Any dispute must first be submitted in writing to Customer Support, including your account details and relevant evidence. Melbet will aim to provide a formal written response within 14 business days.

Market settlements and the determination of bet outcomes are based strictly on the official results provided by the governing body of the relevant sport or match.

The platform and all services are provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Melbet excludes liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of the platform, technical issues, or betting outcomes. You acknowledge the inherent risks of gambling and accept full responsibility for your decisions.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Curaçao. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Curaçao.

12. Changes to the Terms

Melbet reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The updated version will be published on the platform with a revised “Last Modified” date. Continued use of the service after changes have been published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
